Design Sprints + Workshop Facilitation
Bringing in the right people at the right time is one of the biggest challenges faced by anyone trying to conduct design research. Often we end up following processes borrowed from other types of business research.
Design Research Strategy
Do you need to discover an untapped opportunity for an existing product or service? Are you interested to identify an entirely new experience no one has ever considered? Discovery can feel like jumping down a rabbit hole. Collecting the best data in the most appropriate way can be hard to define. We want actionable data. This means discovering insights from sources that lead to new ways of thinking.
Once you’ve formed some solid insights from synthesis it’s time to explore alternative ways of representing information and start making stuff. We make tools that help us go deeper into our understanding and invite people to co-create ideas.
Let’s face it, we want to put our time and energy into the right ideas. One of the worst feelings is to spend a ton of time, energy and money into ideas that don’t serve us. Validation should be part of the entire design process and never reserved at the end. If you are conducting user testing once all of the design work is complete - you’re setting yourself up for a lot of pain.
