As the founder and principal design coach at Exploration x Design, Jess coaches individuals, teams and organizations on how to cultivate healthy design practices while making meaningful products and impactful services.

Jess is a design thinking facilitator and researcher living in Austin, TX. Former UXD Instructor at General Assembly and currently works as an Experience Director at Mutual Mobile.

Jess has worked on design teams for over a decade at MU/DAI, National Australia Bank and Stamford Interactive. She was the recipient of the 2013 "Made in Banff" Artist in Residence Prize for delivering a winning pitch at SXSW Interactive. During her residency at the Banff Centre in Canada, Jess designed a prototype called Key to the Street, a collaboration platform enabling citizens to co-design public space with an emphasis on improving walkability. Key to the Street was a finalist at the 2013 SXSW Eco Place by Design Contest and featured in Fast Company's online blog.
